Groundwater Remediation

Customer installed a chromium/trichloroethylene (TCE) groundwater removal system. System removed total chromium down to nondetect levels (<10 ppb). Client used Lewis off-site carbon cleaning service in Pitsburgh, PA. The spent carbon was shipped as nonhazardous material because it passed the TCLP test. System has processed over 12,000,000 gallons of ground water meeting discharge limits with the proprietary treated carbon filter(s).
